Dear Members of the Fraser Valley Woodturners Guild,
We are collecting any of your woodturnings for display in the Abbotsford Library for February. They will be returned at the March Meeting.
In Abbotsford call Mike O’Leary 604-853-6972 and in Chilliwack call Murray Sluys 604-794-3108 to arrange a time to drop them off. I am suggesting no more than 3 each. If you bring more we will attempt to put them up, but it will be subject to available space.
They must be delivered prior to Feb 1 to either Mike’s place or mine so we have time to make cards for them.
For each piece email me: Artist, title of turning if any and wood species. If not we may have to make up stuff.
Also FYI: Adam is setting up a shop crawl to Art Leistman’s shop in Port Coquitlam on Feb 26. More details to follow.
Furthermore, due to health reasons Martin Thorne is not able to do a demo with us at the Feb meeting and we are planning an alternate demo. We guarantee it will blow your socks off. I just wish I knew what it was.
