A note fron Allan Cusworth
Hi Guys;
I got a call yesterday from John Plough. He has cut down some trees on his property in the Glen Valley area of Abbotsford about 3 days ago. He thought that some of our turners could make use of the wood, got my name off the web and called me.
Details:
Horse Chestnut (+/- 30” dia) plus some branch wood that is 6 – 8”dia. The trunk has been cut into 4’ lengths.
Three Maple trees (+/- 24” dia)
Also has some Cherry (6 – 8” dia) and some Cedar.
John would like to have the wood removed as soon as possible. Since the sap has started to run in the recently cut woo, it is also in our best interest to get it quickly to reduce the cracking tendency.
