Building a Stave Drum with Murray Sluys, May 9, 2024

We’ll be showing a video of the process Murray uses to create a Stave Drum. Murray will also be on hand to answer questions and add tips.
Murray has been turning for over 45 years, currently turning specialty items for tables, chairs, seed oil press, stave drums and a variety of bowls and vessels but not too much of any one thing,
He has been teaching Woodturning at Bow River Wood to Works for 25 years and currently works there three days a week.
He has been active in the FVWG since the late 90s with a 5 year stint as president somewhere between 2000 and 2010.
