President’s Corner
Last months Christmas ornament hands-on was likely a first for a number of us. I noticed a few very pleased turners, proud of their accomplishments. For myself I had nothing but surprises,..catches, broken spindles. Then Mike would keep showing up to see what sort of screw up I would get into next. In the end I had lots of fun learning something new. I hope my jewelry box demo goes a little smoother. In looking for a instructional video for the Christmas Ornaments I noticed a lack of good Utube type videos so Mike O’Leary and my self will be making our own FVWG Utube video on this. I will send out the link when its live.
We will address some small random topics in the new year such as: What methods do artists use to sign their work? and What tool rack system do you use? These topics came from you the members and we need two more . Let us know of a few more.
