Christmas greetings to all members of our Fraser Valley Woodturners Guild.
I would like to wish you and your family a merry Christmas this time of year. Many of you are using your woodturning talents to make gifts for family. That’s great!

Next to the topic is a small request to make this meeting useful for the group. Please forward info by Jan 1. The format of the meeting will be a showing of your ideas followed by a brief discussion. 20 min per topic roughly. We will try to document some of this for the web.
- “How to sign you work?”. Bring to the meeting an example of your signing pen or tool.
- “How do you store your chisels?” Send me by email with a digital picture of your “tool rack”
- “Suppliers” Where do you buy your woodturning tools, finishing products, lathes, wood? send me some of your suppliers if its different that the list below.
- “Wood storage ideas” Send me an email with a picture of your wood storage system. How do you keep your wood from cracking. Its Okay if most of your pics are for entertainment purposes only. We need a good laugh now and then.
Some of you may be interested in viewing the 6 min video Mike and I put together on making Wood Christmas Ornaments. Enjoy Mike and the funky music! I see we are up to 209 views in a few days. Its on our website as well.

The website also has a 3 pager on the Jewelry Box Demo from November.
Any constructive criticism is appreciated. We are not perfect but we have a great planning team willing to listen and change things for the better.
President’s Challenge is a lidded box or bottle stopper.
