7:10 Feature Demo: Getting the Best Wood out of a Log, Stump, or Growth – Doug Neufeld from Neufeld Brothers in Aggazzi, B.C.
8:45 Coffee, Tea and Snacks at the break. And buy wood raffle tickets. Goodies supplied this month by Al Byron, Adam Christiaanse, Gary Cormier, Wayne Cunningham, and Alan Cusworth. Don may have some Magazines and VHS tapes for sale from the club Library.
And the “Problem Corner” Advice from the veterans. Bring something you are working on or something that you want comment on form & design. Bring in problem pieces, unknown species, wood pieces that you don’t know what to do with.
9:00 Presidents Challenge is a piece that has captive rings.
9:15 Members Gallery: Commentary. Bring completed work you want to show, tell how, take questions, and discuss.
9:30 Wood or Tool Raffle donations: Bring wood blanks or a roughed out bowl blanks. Bring something you would use yourself. This month Bill Olsen, Ross Paterson, Beverley Pears, Bill Peetoom and Roger Pitts will each be bringing something good!
