“I learned some very sad news tonight. A good friend of the Fraser Valley Woodturners who many of us will remember, Al Berry died on Sunday night. Most of the new members will not remember Al, but he was a member of the guild for many years and is well known for his salad bowls and utensil carvings. I also knew Al as a much loved Square Dance caller who did a lot for that movement in the Lower Mainland for many years. He sure will be missed.
I know that some of the members who knew Al may want to go to Chilliwack for the service on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 2:00 PM:
