Greeters/talkers are urgently needed to help out the FVWG demos at the Maple Ridge Home Show this weekend in Albion http://www.ridgemeadowshomeshow.com/about-the-show/.
It only requires a couple of hours of your time and you can also take in the Show which has 375+ exhibitors. Duties of a greeter are just to talk to people who are watching a Guild woodturner producing spin tops to give to children. You don’t have to be an experienced turner as the main objective is to expose and promote the Guild to the public. If you are certified by the Guild and wish to turn, that can also be accommodated.
The times which require assistance are:
Friday, May 4/18 – 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday, May 5/18 – 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Sunday, May 6/18 – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
