Island Woodturners Guild presents Steven Kennard

A message from Tim Karpiak of the IWG:

Hi Everyone,

The Island Woodturners Guild is presenting Steven Kennard on Saturday April 27 (9-4) for a full day demonstration. (Mainland folks will be able to catch the 7am ferry and be in Brentwood Bay by 9.) He will also be running two, 2 day workshops. The first will be April 28-29 and the second will be April 30-May 1. There are still a few spots left for the workshops and all out of town guild members are welcome to sign up. If you’ve ever seen any of Steven’s work you’ll know it’s first class and he’s a wonderful presenter and teacher. Check out his website at www.stevenkennard.com
The cost for the all day demo will be $40 dollars (guild member rate)
The 2 day workshops will be $250 dollars which includes the Saturday demo.
If you’re interested in coming to the demo then just show up on Saturday morning at our meeting place. 1229 Clarke Rd., Brentwood Bay, BC
If you would like to attend one of the workshops, please contact Vik Peck with your requested days. Her email address is vikpeck@gmail.com. (make sure you spell Vik with a “K”.)
I’ll include the list of tools and supplies requested for workshop attendance. But don’t worry if you don’t have all the goodies. We’ll endeavour to have the basics available for everyone. (Material list below)(Ed.)
I hope to see some of you on the 27th!
Cheers,

Tim
