Two In One Bowls by Barry Wilkinson

“Hope you are keeping well . . . If you are looking to post items that are keeping members busy, attached are some pics of my latest creation(s).

“They are turned at different centers to make them look as if there are two bowls stacked.
No glue, one solid piece of wood”

8” x 3” Maple, tung oil & buffed

9” x 4” Spalted maple, tung oil & buffed

“Below is my first attempt to make a stacked bowl.”

“What I learned from turning these items are:-
Sharp Tools, Speed, Sharp Tools, Accuracy, Sharp Tools and Patience are needed

I watch too many youtube segments and I seem to focus on unique items that are generally not displayed in instant galleries.
I enjoy presenting items that are unusual, this type of woodturning will leave most people with the question – ‘How did the turner do that?’
