Island Woodturners Presents Mike Mahoney

This weekend the Island Woodturners Guild is having a remote demo by Mike Mahoney.

Mike is regarded as one of the finest bowl turners in the U.S. A professional woodturner since 1994, he had been a frequent demonstrator at AAW symposia as well as clubs throughout North America and Europe. The topics covered will include: Tool design and grinding Thread chasing Bowl turning Hollow forms and urns Wood finishes Bowl Coring Oak Platters Shear scraping Pepper Mills Drinking cup

The demo starts at 1pm PDT on Saturday June 27 and will run approx 2.5 hours.

We have a limited number of spots available for non-members of our guild (IWG). We will be charging 10 dollars per person.

The fee can be sent via e-transfer to president@islandwoodturners.ca. A password is not required as it will be automatically deposited. Please include an email address in the message section of the e-transfer. An email will be sent to that address with the Zoom link for Saturday.
