I have a General Canada 26020 Electronic Variable Speed Wood lathe for sale, main spindle thread is 1 1/4″-8 and tool post diameter is 1″.
Items included are what is shown in the pictures, 4 prong drive center, tailstock live center, 12″ tool rest, 4″ tool rest, a right angle tool rest, a 6″ faceplate, a Nova Chuck insert threaded for the outboard thread of 1 1/8″-8 LH, an S- curve tool rest and a home built steady rest to accommodate the 20″ swing over the lathe bed ways. Additions to the lathe are the gap filler block, the outboard bed extension as well as an additional banjo with riser, swing over the outboard extension is 28″
Lathe is powered by a Baldor 2hp 3 phase motor couple to a Variable frequency drive and requires a 220v 15amp single phase connection. ( common 220v household current ) Between the 4 step pulley system and the VFD the lathe has a functional range of speed between 25 – 2870 rpm.
Controls for start, stop, forward / reverse and speed control have been moved to a remote pendant with magnetic backing to allow placement anywhere on the lathe.
Lathe is in my shop and is fully operational should you wish to try it out.
The lathe weighs 560lbs without the outboard extension and additional banjo, so all in its weight is apx. 700 lbs.
