And in the ”Problem Corner” get advice from the veterans. Bring something you are working on or something you want comment on form & design. Bring in problem pieces, unknown species, wood pieces that you don’t know what to do with.
9:10 Presidents Challenge is a Snowman.
“How I create a wooden, turned snowman” by Dick Rowe.
The snowman body starts out as a 6 1/2” (3” square) blank and the hat is about 3” tall (varies) and starts out about 2 3/4” square. This month Gerry Vickers, Albert Waardenburg Albert, John Webster, Bryan Whitta, Barry Wilkinson and Tom Wilson will each be bringing some good wood or other turning items (eg Sandpaper, Finish, Tools)!
