“A 14 x 3 in Big Leaf Maple burl.
A bead on the outer rim in addition to inner bowl rim highlights its depth and breaks up any tendency of rim to rim sameness. I rescued this wood from a 25 year impoundment, clean cuts resulted in a sand blasting of pellets, but with its first dry and wet sanding finished surprising well . Looking forward to matching a second round . Cheers Ken”
